Dr. Fang is the Associate Director of New IVF Clinic as well as director of the embryology lab. She has been working on reproductive medicine as well as relevant research and education projects since 1998, from which she has accomplished rich experience in clinical management of infertilities and relevant lab procedures. She was the first in China to convene researches on PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis) for patients with chromosome translocations, and has reported the first successful pregnancy thereby. She’s been sponsored by numerous research foundations, and is in charge of projects supported by the Natural Science Research Foundations in China as well as Guangdong Province. Dr. Fang has published 36 research articles in Chinese and international academic journals. She was recruited to work in the lab of the center of reproductive medicine at Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital through Import of Mainland Talents Program in Hong Kong from 2005 to 2007, during which she chaired scientific researches in the lab there and led or participated in projects like PGD, IVM, cryopreservation of human oocytes, etc. Dr. Fang has visited numerous centers of reproductive medicine in China and has provided guidance for their work.
